A work of the heart...,
Mother Teresa was an important person in the lives of two people I loved very much - my parents. She met my father after a life-altering stroke and gave him hope for the future. That same hope carried my mother through the years following my father's death and her own battle with a debilitating illness. Mother Teresa continues to inspire me today. Fr. Langford's account of Mother Teresa's work and her life with the poor and forgotten of this world is a life lesson for all of us. It is only in forgetting ourselves that we begin to live and to move closer to the One who died and rose for us. Mother Teresa saw the face of Our Lord in every person she met. Her faith and trust in God is something we should strive for each and every day.
