Chez Suzanne
- This is the personal website of Suzanne Harker, a
spiritual director who lives in New York. It includes
the sub-sites '21st Century Disciple' and 'Contemplatives
in the Market Place'. Drawing upon both Ignatian and
Passionist spirituality, she presents scripture-based
prayers and reflections that aim to address 'difficult
issues that we face daily in our world'. Reflecting
on 11 September, she places in the context of Mary's
Visitation the heroism of the passengers who challenged
the hijackers and caused their plane to crash in a field
in Pennsylvania - 'they gave human life to those at
the original attack destination of this plane'. It's
worth enduring the UPPER CASE setting of much of the
site's text to gain inspiration from the pithy presentation
of insights of scripture and a number of spiritiual
masters including Meister Eckhart.
